ketchup mania was voted Shojo Beat's "Best Japanese Punk Group" award in
the 2007 Music Issue.

In May 2007, the band released their first CD on Japanese major label Toy's Factory, titled "U.R.G.E." and made their American debut at A-Kon 18 in Dallas, Texas for an audience of 2500 fans. ketchup mania returned to Japan for non-stop touring, and in late 2007 released the follow-up CD titled "L.O.V.E." They returned to the U.S. in 2008 to perform at the internationally famous music festival SXSW in Austin, Texas. Their multi-city 2008 tour of the USA took them to New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and ended in Seattle, Washington at Sakura-Con 11 for an audience of 3000.

In June 2008, they will release their third album on the Toy's Factory label, titled "F.L.A.G."
