About the Director

The collection includes 6 works by the internationally renown animator Noburo Ofuji, the works of Mitsuyo Seo, and the works of Kenzo Masaoka, the animator who raised the standard of Japanese animation. Not to be missed are the works of Sanae Yamamoto, one of the founders of Toei Doga, which was among Japan's first major animation studios, which later nurtured the talent of Hayao Miyazaki.
