Synopsis

During the Middle Ages, Oguri, a renowned masseur is summoned by the ruler of the dark world called the Lord ailing from a venereal disease. After encouraging the Princess Terute to escape, Oguri is poisoned to death by the Lord. However, Oguri is sent back to the land of the living in the form of a Hungry Ghost, in a state of apparent death. Meanwhile, Terute manages to flee from the Lord's and reunites with Ogur, but the Lord is hot in their heels to find and punish Terute.

About the Director

Born in 1969, Toshiaki Toyoda started his career in the industry working at a company where he was involved in productions directed by Junji Sakamoto. Since his feature film debut with "Pornostar" in 1998, Toyoda has received acclaim at festivals around the world. His other film credits are "Unchain ('00)", "Blue Spring ('01)", "Nine Souls ('03)", and "Hanging Garden ('05)".
