Inspired by Kyoichi Sawada, the winner of Pulitzer Prize and a famous photojournalist, Taizo Ichinose tried to follow the same path that Sawada made, but his life came to an end at the age of 26 in 1973. This is the documentary about a young and aspiring photojournalist whose dream was to become the first journalist to photograph Angkor Wat under the regime of Khmer Rouge. The director Nakajima made extensive interviews with people including Taizo's family, fellow journalists, the family in Cambodia, etc and brings the image of Taizo as real as possible.About the Director
