If you've got a Japanese apple in the U.S.A., it has to be a Fuji Apple. Due to regulation by the USDA, the Fuji is the only variety allowed to be imported into the U.S.A. from Japan.
Japanese consumers prefer the crispy texture and sweetness of Fuji Apples. Our area, Aomori Prefecture, is the best known apple growing region of Japan. Of the roughly 750,000 tons of Japanese apples produced annually, about 400,000 tons come from Aomori and 52% of those are Fuji Apples. We supply crispy textured and sweet Fuji Apples to the U.S.A. with full confidence.
