Japan - One Year After - Beyond the Recovery from the 2011 Earthquake
Former U.S. Ambassador to Japan J. Thomas Schieffer will provide an overview of current issues in Japan and Senior Managing Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan) Ray Tanguay will focus on the supply-chain challenges following the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.




JETRO-Houston, with its five-state jurisdiction including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana, offers a wide variety of business development services for companies in the U.S. South Central region that are planning to open an office in Japan. Our primary target industries are information and communication technologies (ICT), semiconductors, and medical devices /service sectors. We also welcome investment from other industries.
