METI's Subsidy Program Targeting the Location of Innovative Low-Carbon Tech-Intensive Industries

June 01, 2012 - The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is accepting applications for a subsidy program targeting Innovative Low-Carbon Technology-Intensive Industries. It's aim is to promote the growth of the low-carbon industry which sustains regional economies and to increase industrial plant locaton in Japan. Support will be offered to companies planning to make a facility investment for developping manufacturing methods of cutting-edge "low-carbon products" using innovative technology leading to the effective reduction of Carbon Dioxide.

Subsidized Projects
Project to establish first manufacturing line of products or materials leading to effective reduction of Carbon Dioxide by utilizing cutting edge, innovative technology which will contribute to the progress of performance and the prevalence of low-carbon products.
