    The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan offers incentives of up to 500M yen to global companies for establishing Regional HQ or R&D Sites in Japan. Application ends on June 3rd, 2013 (12:00 pm, Japan Time).

    April 2013 – The Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) is the regulatory agency in Japan that is responsible for the review and monitoring or products for medicinal use. The PMDA mission is to protect the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy and quality of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. PMDA is responsible for the scientific review of clinical trial applications and market authorization applications for pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices. The PMDA also monitors the post-marketing safety of medical products on the Japanese market.
