Regarding Millburn's outlook on business in Japan after the March 11 earthquake, Mr. Goodman said, "Millburn has substantial business interest in Japan, and had plans to establish a permanent presence there months before the disaster. Plans for our Tokyo office were driven by our desire to expand upon our existing investor base, which includes a growing institutional business, and the desire to provide best-in-class client service and education. We believe in the resourcefulness and resolve of the Japanese people and, despite the tragedy, our long-term outlook for Japan remains very optimistic."
