Vitrolife, a biotechnology and medical device company of Sweden, established a company in Japan to meet the country's high demand for infertility treatments.

National Semiconductor Creates Relationship with West Holdings to Sell SolarMagic Power Optimizers in Japan
June 21, 2009

Analog power management technology company National Semiconductor announced the formation of a sales relationship with West Holdings, National's first Japanese PV business partner. According to the press release, many rooftops in Japan inhibit solar effectiveness due to being small, complex-shaped, and blocked by structural objects in crowded areas. National seeks to enable more homeowners in Japan to install PV systems using its SolarMagic power optimizers, which provide flexibility in panel configuration.
