Underwriters Laboratories plans new facilities in Japan for PV market
May 26, 2009

Product safety testing and certification company Underwriters Laboratories (UL) announced plans to open a new facility in Japan in 2010 for the photovoltaic (PV) market. Jeff Smidt, General Manager of UL's Global Energy Business, is quoted saying Japan is one of the "bedrocks of photovoltaic manufacturing, research and innovation."
