JETRO provides free intermediary services connecting appropriate and pre-screened suppliers for U.S. companies interested in importing Japanese food and beverage products. JETRO also provides first-hand assistance to U.S. companies regarding the rules and regulations for importing from and exporting to Japan. Our six U.S. offices regularly host free Japanese food and beverage promotion events to introduce you directly to Japanese suppliers.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Japan Pavilion Showcases at both the Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows
• Free Japanese sake events for industry professionals in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago

Buyer's Mission Programs to Japan

JETRO is the sponsor of the highly regarded application-based Japan Buyer's Mission Programs. These one to two-week missions are subsidized by JETRO and are typically scheduled around major food shows in Japan throughout the year. For selected foreign companies, JETRO also arranges numerous direct meetings with Japanese suppliers and on-site visits to local farms, factories and plants. Air travel, transportation, and accommodations for the Buyer's Mission Program are provided by JETRO.
