February 24, 2012

San Francisco, CA - The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is proud to present 10 Japanese game companies at Game Connection America 2012 held in San Francisco.

JETRO has participated in Game Connection since 2006 to promote creative Japanese game titles overseas. Every year, our participating developers engage in business meetings with multiple gaming firms to find new business partners and opportunities, and many of them return to further expand their business.

With our strong focus on business matching events, JETRO is continuing its presence at Game Connection this year with a diverse group of innovative Japanese developers, including:

  • Companies that develop and distribute games on major Japanese social gaming platforms such as GREE, Mobage, and mixi.
  • Companies with extensive experience developing console games for European and U.S. markets.
  • Committed Game Connection regulars and first timers eager to build new networks.

Our featured companies are proactively seeking opportunities to expand their IP distribution, find new business partners in new markets, and obtain new development contracts. With proven success in the Japanese market, we believe these developers offer unique and entertaining titles that will be a great asset to U.S. game businesses. JETRO is, therefore, inviting U.S. game companies to meet these highly acclaimed Japanese game developers in person at Game Connection in San Francisco. Meetings are by invitation only and can be arranged by contacting JETRO San Francisco or by contacting the game companies directly. Meeting slots fill up quickly so it is recommended to make arrangements as soon as possible.
