This seminar is part of a series of annual events held under the US-Japan Investment Initiative to promote two-way investment between the countries. The program was established in June 2001 by the leaders of Japan and the US within the framework of the US-Japan Economic Partnership for Growth.

In light of expectations for a boom in the environment and new energy sectors, the seminar will provide updates on the US market and examine ways small and medium-size high-tech firms in these fields from Japan and the US can utilize business alliances to expand globally or secure financing/attract investment, as well as address how such cross-border alliances can lead to the creation of new industries.

Companies and individuals seeking new business opportunities are cordially invited to attend.

JETRO Zone at Green Device 2009 Exhibition
JETRO will set up the JETRO Zone at "Green Device 2009" in Yokohama on October 28-30 to give foreign firms an opportunity to exhibit their products, services and technologies to potential partners in Japan.
