Sunday, September 16, 2012 - Tuesday, September 18, 2012
ENGLISH
Third-Party Event
Organization Name: The Midwest U.S.-Japan Association

Global Strategies for Economic Growth
Japan and the United States have a major impact on the world economy, accounting for 30 percent of all goods and services traded annually. These two nations contribute significantly to each other's economies through foreign trade and investment.
The Midwest U.S.-Japan Association Conference will focus on the strong economic relationship of these two countries and explore strategies for improving foreign trade and investment during this time of global economic uncertainty.
Six U.S. Governors and Executives from Toyota, 3M, All Nippon Airways, Medtronic, Ecolab, Sumitomo, McQuay International and more will share their insights about new technology, sustainable energy, and trade and partnerships in the Asia/Pacific region.
Conference participants also will have a chance to explore Minneapolis-Saint Paul at a reception at the Minnesota History Center, a dinner at the Nicollet Island Pavilion and a scenic boat cruise on the Mississippi River.
This is the first time that the conference has been held in Minnesota in 27 years. Don't miss this chance to build relationships with global business leaders and introduce your company to this influential audience.
