How International Tax and Transfer Pricing Impacts Your Global Business

Presented by:
Lisa Lu is an international tax manager with 13 years of international tax experience. Prior to joining RSM McGladrey, she spent eight years with a “Big Four” accounting firm. Lisa provides international tax services to clients of varying sizes with a focus on serving clients with businesses headquartered in Asia, including China, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Lisa focuses primarily on international tax compliance and planning strategies for her clients. She received her BA in International Business at the National Taiwan University, MBA in Professional Accounting at the University of Texas, and MBA in Economic Engineering/Financial Analysis at the National Kyushu University, Japan. Lisa is also a member of the AICPA.
 
Enrique Rayon, Ph.D.is the Director of International Tax - Transfer Pricing at RSM McGladrey. Dr. Enrique Rayon has over 15 years of experience advising clients on a variety of transfer pricing matters. Prior to joining RSM McGladrey, Enrique was a Senior Economist with one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, and a Managing Director with a global economic consulting group. His expertise is in developing transfer pricing analyses for multinational companies involving merger and acquisition activity, international tax planning and compliance, and restructuring and reorganization of international operations. Enrique holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences worldwide.
 
Summary:
This month’s 4th Tuesday will focus on international tax and transfer pricing, as well as the benefits and implications for global businesses. Topics will include:
1. Foreign Bank and Financial Account Reporting (FBAR)
2. International Tax
3. Japan – US Income Tax Treaty
4. Transfer Pricing
