Summary:

Speakers will share their experiences with innovative green technologies and best practices from Japan.

This month’s 4^th Tuesday topics will include discussions by Mr. Kenichi Mori on lightweight, flexible thin film solar applications that can be utilized for innovative building design; stationary fuel cell systems for public and commercial buildings, including usage as a natural disaster backup emergency system; and advanced ozone water treatment systems for use in water supply plants, sewage treatment, swimming pools, and many other applications.

Our second speaker, Mr. Sushi Kamioka will present his experiences with tankless water heating in Japan and their applications in the U.S. – including the benefits of endless on-demand hot water, energy efficiency and space saving Japanese technology. Tankless water heaters have been incorporated into less than 10% of all buildings in U.S., compared to an astonishing 95% of buildings in Japan.
