JETRO Event

It is a great honor for the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to return to the 2011 International CES Robotics TechZone, our fourth participation in this leading international event since 2007.

This year's Japan Pavilion will feature 9 exhibitors, many of them pioneers in such fields as robotics. Firms will be presenting their leading-edge technologies, products and services on this key global stage, and look forward to active business talks with prospective partners.

The Japan Pavilion will feature a business corner where visitors can take part in one-on-one meetings with exhibitors and utilize other business support and services.

Exhibiting Companies

• Tsukuba Center, Inc. (TCI)
  Tsukuba Center was established in 1988 as a third-sector organization-a joint venture between private and public sectors to promote mutual exchange among researchers of national research institutes, universities and private industries, and support new product development and business incubation.
• Cyberdyne Inc.
  "Robot Suit HAL" is a cyborg-type robot that can expand and improve physical capability. "HAL" is expected to be applied in various fields such as rehabilitation support and physical training support in medical field, ADL support for disabled people, heavy labour support at factories, and rescue support at disaster sites, as well as in the entertainment field.
• JS-Robotics Inc. (Japanese only)
  JS-ROBOTICS INC is focused on the research and development, manufacturing and sales of education-oriented IT and robotics. Since 2006, JS-ROBOTICS has achieved sales of over 1000 Educational Robotic Kits over several years, including the Ladybug Robot Education Kit and Stag Beetle Robot Education Kit.
• nextEDGE Technology, K.K.
  aeroTAP is a new user interface which uses your existing webcam that would enable users to operate their computer without any keyboard and/or mouse. aeroTAP enables users to interact without any input devices and would be able to control the computer through virtual screen.
• TOPS Systems Corp.
  "TOPSTREAM, A Microprocessor drives Next-Generation!" We provide highly Energy-Efficient and scalable Heterogeneous Multi-Core IPs and its distributed processing software IPs with distinct advantages from optimizations through Architecture-Algorithm co-design for next-gen Information Appliances.
• Xiroku Inc.
  Xiroku Inc. was established as a business in 2001 after developing the touch screen with the CMOS camera, and manufactured a new CMOS image sensor in 2009. In 2007, developed the worlds’ first "pressure sheet sensor" by electromagnetic induction system.
• City of Osaka, Chicago Office
  Osaka city government's Chicago office (City of Osaka, Chicago Office) is the North American access point into Osaka. Our core focus is in building mutually beneficial relationships in business, culture, and education with organizations throughout North America.
• Robot Laboratory
  Robot Laboratory is a facility for the creation of next-generation robotic businesses established by the Osaka city government in 2004. Robot Laboratory will be co-located in the City of Osaka's booth space.
• PARO Robots U.S., Inc.
  PARO Robots U.S., Inc was established in November 2008 to introduce the Therapy Baby Harp Seal Robot, "PARO" to the US. It is responsible for sales, marketing and maintenance service of PARO in the US.
• Vstone Co., Ltd.
  Vstone Co., Ltd. is a robotics developing and manufacturing company. Our products are humanoid robots for research and hobby, the sensors for robots, and educational programmable robots. Kumotek Robotics is our partner/distributor in USA. They are providing our products to the whole world.
