JETRO Event

The main purpose of the seminar is to give an annual update to and discuss the developments toward East Asian economic integration with the policy makers and researchers in Washington D.C. This year, the seminar will focus on APEC, Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and report the progress of the integration and business trends within the region. Taking into consideration that the U.S. will host the APEC summit in 2011 after Japan, we hope to convey Japan's contributions and role within the Pacific Rim Economic Region, as well as our expectations toward the U.S.
