Summary:

Speakers will share their expertise and experiences with electric vehicles and related infrastructure development.

This month’s 4^th Tuesday will include discussions by Mr. Russell Vare who is now working on infrastructure related issues for the new battery electric Nissan Leaf. His previous work experience includes hydrogen infrastructure development for The California Fuel Cell Partnership, solar PV projects for the Los Angeles Community College District, and serving as a green building advisor for JETRO Los Angeles.

Our second speaker, Mr. Christopher Vournakis, has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He recently joined Southern California Edison in support of their efforts on Plug-in Electric Vehicle Readiness. As part of the External Engagement team, he focuses on building relationships and collaborative efforts with automotive manufacturers, charging station manufacturers and local cities and communities.
