Daidoh International New York, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the apparel manufacturer Daidoh Limited, develops a Daidoh brand targeted toward the U.S. market and it debuted at the Designer Forum New York menswear trade show that was held in January. This trade show, held by the Custom Tailors & Designers Association, specializes in men's tailored clothing and related small products and 66 companies participated. The buyers are mainly specialty stores from regions throughout the U.S.

U.S. buyers find that the company's products have an established reputation for beautiful silhouettes, for example, in the line of the shoulder, and the reason for that is often found to be the sewing process. Whereas other companies use sewing machines, the arm holes of these products are hand-sewn, taking three times the normal amount of time and they are finely pressed to create a natural line. Everything from the fabric to the sewing is handled at the company's factory in China, making production control simple. The beautifully-tailored and softly-textured fabrics are popular and the flannel (fabric in which raised and fluffy fabrics are woven together) topcoat and cashmere/wool knit blend single jacket received particularly high praise from U.S. buyers.

Daidoh International New York, Inc. opened a tuxedo and suit custom order business at the New York bridal shop, Kleinfeld since spring 2010.
