ISHIKAWA PREFECTURAL GOVERNMENT
Products: Sea Salt , Konnyaku (Konjac) chips
Suzu Salt: This mineral-rich sea salt comes from the Sea of Japan at the edge of the Ishikawa Noto Peninsula where the people of Suzu have been preparing it by hand for over 500 years. This handcrafted salt has a soft, luxurious flavor, and with its slightly sweet flavor, it is the perfect complement for sashimi, tempura or fried and grilled dishes. Sougen Junmai-sake has represented Japan’s Noto Peninsula since 1868. It continues to embody the region’s traditions and natural richness to this day. This elegant sake subtly balances flavor and fragrance, yielding a mild, slightly sweet taste. The Noto-Toji, the local brewers behind Sougen, are revered as artisans throughout Japan.
