Jrock Revolution - Yoshiki and 4 Fini Push Forward with Multi-Artist Festival

SANTA MONICA, CA – Created by Japanese rock superstar Yoshiki of X JAPAN, Jrock Revolution, the first multi-artist music festival in North America to exclusively showcase Japanese rock music (Jrock for short) straight from Japan, launches May 25 at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Boasting a variety of artists, some of which have already performed and released albums in Europe, the U.S., and Japan, Jrock Revolution answers the wishes of curious music lovers and tens of thousands of Jrock fans alike. Nation’s Largest Convention Teams Up with Sony Music
(June 29-July 2)

LONG BEACH, CA – A popular sextet from Osaka, ORESKABAND, storms into Anime Expo as the 2nd Guest of Honor for the highly anticipated 2007 convention at the Long Beach Convention Center. Formed in 2003, ORESKABAND is composed of middle school classmates-TOMI (bass & vocals), TAE-SAN (drums), SAKI (trumpet), MORIKO (tenor sax), LEADER (trombone) and IKASU (guitar & vocals). They began playing at local clubs and quickly became popular due to their enthusiastic performances. From appearing at local venues and appearing in a TV commercial for POCKY, ORESKABAND continues to showcase their unique and new “ska-pop” sounds and has performed at the prestigious annual FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL.
