Sundance Film Festival 2007: Meet the Next-Generation Japanese Filmmakers!

Having a writer’s block or desperately searching for new ideas or talents for your next film project? We have a perfect event set up just for you! Mark your calendar to hear the proposal of the hottest ideas presented by the next-generation Japanese filmmakers themselves. Japan Bash and Night at SXSW 2007!

Save two consecutive nights during SXSW for a unique performance by the best line-up of Japanese artists. In collaboration with SXSW Music Asia, JAPAN BASH will be held at the park located in front of the convention center on March 15th. With food, drinks, and live music, this is an event you would not want to miss. And of course, don’t forget the 11th annual JAPAN NIGHT hosted by SXSW Asia Japan on night following JAPAN BASH. Keep March 15th and the 16th open to see the hottest new rock bands hyping the current underground of Japan. For more information will be announced at http://www.sxsw-asia.com

We had more than 300 people appear for the event and it was definitely a great networking opportunity for these young directors. Our AFM reception held at the Le Merigot Hotel on November 2nd attracted more than 400 buyers, sellers, media and other entertainment industry professionals. It was a successful networking event! Furthermore, the companies at our JETRO booth in Loews Hotel had a total of 150 meetings.
