"At CES 2005, JETRO arranged for us to meet with a number of businesses that were of great interest from a strategic standpoint. It was a positive experience that offered us an efficient way to meet and evaluate innovative companies that, otherwise, may not have crossed our radar screen. JETRO is clearly offering a valuable service to the business community."

FREE BUSINESS MATCHING WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS

Capitalizing on the long history of technology collaboration between the United States and Japan, JETRO invites you to participate in a free business matching program being held during the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show. As the worldwide business climate is becoming increasingly competitive, finding the markets and partners that contribute to your short and long term goals is critical. Through meeting and doing business with some of the worlds most distinguished consumer electronics companies, you will expand your global networks and position your business for growth.

During the 2005 International CES, 16 U.S. companies from industries such as broadband content, mobile devices, and VOIP participated in JETRO’s business matching program. In total, JETRO arranged more than 35 meetings between North American and Japanese companies. As a result of these meetings, several companies later signed customer and partner agreements with Japanese companies.

Japanese companies participating in last year’s program include:
Canon                              • Epson             • Hitachi

• Sony                                 • Toshiba

JETRO will screen all applicants prior to meeting arrangement to ensure the relevance and fit of the business matchings.
