Business Matching @ The Tokyo Game ShowWith the goal of bringing foreign and Japanese game companies together, in September 2011, JETRO coordinated a buyer ("publisher") invitation program in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. Six companies, including Big Fish Games and PopCap Games, joined from the U.S. and Canada to meet with Japanese social and casual game companies in Japan. As part of the event, some of the invitees even demonstrated the latest in casual and social gaming from North America. This year, JETRO will again arrange business matching at the Tokyo Game Show 2012. Nine publishers were invited from five countries to meet with Japanese companies seeking to promote their titles in overseas markets. Tokyo Game Show 2012
