Business Matching @ Game Connection

Game Connection

Game Connection is a B-to-B event held in Europe, Asia, and in the U.S. Top professionals in the game industry gather to meet key decision makers and identify new partnerships and business deals. JETRO arranges and facilitates business meetings between Japanese game developers and interested game publishers.

With our strong focus on business matching, JETRO has been an active participant at Game Connection since 2006. We will continue our presence at Game Connection America 2013 in San Francisco in March with seven Japanese game developers.

Business Matching @ The Tokyo Game Show

With the goal of bringing foreign and Japanese game companies together, in September 2011, JETRO coordinated a buyer ("publisher") invitation program in conjunction with the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. Six companies, including Big Fish Games and PopCap Games, joined from the U.S. and Canada to meet with Japanese social and casual game companies in Japan. As part of the event, some of the invitees even demonstrated the latest in casual and social gaming from North America.

This year, JETRO will again arrange business matching at the Tokyo Game Show 2012. Nine publishers were invited from five countries to meet with Japanese companies seeking to promote their titles in overseas markets.
