The BJT is supported by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Agency for Cultural Affairs, and leading business and academic organizations such as the Japan Foundation, Nippon Keidanren, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the National Institute for Japanese Language.
